"Evidence We
Are Immortal Spiritual Beings: Paranormal
Evidence"
by Dr. Mark
Pitstick
Despite a $25,000
prize--a king's ransom in 1927--no one had
successfully flown solo across the
Atlantic. How did the winner do it? He
said 'ghostly presences' guided him and took
over when he succumbed to fatigue and
sleep. The pilot described these phantoms
as transparent, moving, speaking with human
voices, and friendly.
These 'emissaries from a spirit world' were,
said the flier, like a gathering of family
and friends he had known before. Colonel
Charles A. Lindbergh wrote about this
spirit-assisted flight in his
autobiography The Spirit of St. Louis.
Lindbergh's experience
could be categorized as paranormal. Webster
defines paranormal as: "Beyond the range of
scientifically known or recognizable
phenomena; rare; supernatural."
However, as C.W.
Leadbeater stated, "It is one of the
commonest of mistakes to consider that the
limit of our power of perception is also the
limit of all there is to perceive." Just
because something can not currently be fully
explained by scientific method doesn't
preclude its existence.
Much validated input
exists from authentic mediums and channelers
and other paranormal sources. Many people
aren't aware of the legitimacy of this
category because past references to the
paranormal were sometimes linked with
the occult, satanic, weird, or nonsensical.
Examining these topics with open-minded
skepticism, however, may fill in pieces of
life's puzzle for you.
Some churches and people
dismiss mediumship as demonic in nature.
However, history reports multiple examples
of people and miracles that were considered
as demonic by the established church and now
are viewed as valid. Authentic mediums
categorically deny any evil intention but,
rather, consider their
special gifts as a sacred trust to be used
to help others.
Admittedly, there are and
have been fraudulent mediums and channelers
and caution must be exercised as with any
endeavor. Capricious or malicious spirits
also appear to exist; just because a
discarnate being can communicate with our
dimension doesn't mean it is wise and
trustworthy. As such, mediums must use
discernment in evaluating the message and
the messenger.
If just one medium,
however, has genuine abilities to
communicate with spirit world, then that
information is vital. There are a number
ofmediums whose work has been authenticated
by top scientists and many clients. Their
messages are overwhelmingly reassuring that
there is life
after death for
everyone. Being with the Infinite Light,
these mediums agree, is always an open-ended
possibility because that's our Source and
birthright.
With faith and knowledge
of our immortal spiritual natures, we can be
joyful and radiant beings, even amidst
life's greatest challenges.
