The Advantages of Knowing Our High
   Soul Natures and Living Accordingly

We live in an exciting time when religious/spiritual teachings, scientific evidence, and firsthand experience have accumulated to reveal comforting truths. We each really are eternal souls, timeless spiritual beings. Our real selves live before physical birth and survive bodily death. There is truly nothing to fear or worry about. This is the good news that sets us free and that makes exquisite sense.

Someone once said, "Nothing that offends the sensibilities of a child can be really true." Children have no sense of death but, rather, view it as a vacation or a trip to somewhere else. They believe that they will see departed loved ones again, that death is not a good-bye but a "see you later". Oh, from the mouth of babes . . . they are right! The evidence in my book substantiates what most of us felt as children but couldn't verbalize.

We only drop the body, change worlds, graduate, pass on, cross over. Here are brief descriptions about just four of the nine categories of evidence that we each really are indestructible spiritual beings:

After-Death Contacts

After-Death Contacts (ADC’s) supply fascinating evidence that life survives physical death. Research polls show that 25% of Americans report having seen ghosts or disembodied spirits. Those numbers swell to 66% for widows whose husbands have passed on, and 75% for parents whose children have crossed over. No longer afraid of seeming 'kooky,' more and more people are sharing documented stories of reassuring visitations by those in spirit.

Enlightened Religious Teachings

Nearly all religions, and at least some denominations in every religion, support the idea of universal salvation. This precept maintains--as in the Biblical prodigal son parable-that ALL souls will eventually realize their true natures, return from the far country of spiritual ignorance, and come Home. Most religions and denominations also respect the diversity among different spiritual traditions and teach that all paths lead to God. Further, they confirm that all life is inextricably interconnected and endlessly one with Spirit.

Near-Death Experiences

The phenomenon of near-death experiences (NDE’s) is the most thoroughly validated category of proof that consciousness continues beyond physicality. Many thousands of NDE’s have been scrupulously documented by objective doctors and scientists. For example, the awareness of a clinically dead patient sometimes travels about during resuscitative efforts and observes events occurring in and outside the hospital. Afterwards, these observations are verified by hospital staff members. Verifiable NDE’s that occur with blind people and children are especially impressive.

Peri-Natal Experiences

Peri-natal experiences (PNE’s) include reports by children who accurately remember events while inside the womb, during birth, or just after birth. Follow-up studies have verified the accuracy of pre-natal vision, a true "double blind" study since fetal eyes are closed inside the uterus. In spontaneous reports or under hypnosis, many children have described a transcendent awareness that existed before, and merges with, the fetal brain-based consciousness.

The other five categories include: Scientific Input, Paranormal Evidence, Miraculous and Revelatory Encounters, Reincarnation Evidence, and Firsthand Knowing. Altogether, these nine categories of evidence convincingly point to a nonphysical reality that's usually undetectable by the five human senses. The implications of this knowledge are powerfully and positively life-transforming.

For starters, this data provides impressive proof that death is just another phase in life, like adolescence or mid-life. Death is merely a transition--an admittedly big change--but one that we all survive quite well. This perspective takes the fear out of death and the hopelessness out of suffering and struggle. Knowing that our time here on earth is only a nanosecond in the span of eternity helps us cope and thrive no matter what our outer circumstances. We can better realize that our trials and tribulations here are relatively very transitory and that, in comparison, our souls are unconquerable and immortal.

Think about this information for a moment and consider how it might shape the way you live. You know the old saying, "What would you do with your life if you knew you couldn't fail?" Then do it now because your real self does not die and cannot ultimately fail. We each truly have eternity to get it right, but why wait that long?
