Questions & Answers
Q: I find the concept of some souls choosing to play the role of “abuser” to be very strange. If souls want to make higher energy choices, why would they be doomed to lead a low energy lifetime and hurt someone?
A: Thank you for asking this very important question. It shows an impressive degree of love, caring, and critical thinking. I agree that this concept might appear to be strange and worse. However, this earthly experience makes much more sense when we expand our understandings – even a bit – and examine such deep topics.
To my knowledge, an abuser can fall into at least two categories:
- Beginner soulswhose brain-based and transcendent sources of consciousness aren’t entrained. As such, they may abuse others out of ignorance and imbalance. In this case, the abuser wasn’t a contrast soul but, rather, one who failed – at least for now – to fulfill their soul’s plans.
- More advanced soulswho abuse by design in concert with the person who was abused on earth. In these cases, the purpose is to create more love, growth, and learning. This set-up can serve more than one person; for example, a soul with addiction tendencies while on earth may choose the possibility of ‘killing’ someone while drinking and driving. The results could serve:

- the driver so she more deeply realizes that she must take responsibility for her choices and actions
- the person who was ‘killed’ because he didn’t need a long earthly life and wanted an early ticket back Home
- family members of the ‘dead’ person who were eventually positively affected after choosing to look for, benefit from, and share the silver linings.

A brief answer to your question addresses your second sentence:
* If souls want to make higher energy choices . . .
All souls WANT to make higher energy choices but, obviously, that doesn’t always happen for a number of reasons – especially with beginner souls. For advanced souls, the primary energy behind pre-planned ‘playing the part of’ a contrast soul is LOVE. That might be hard to understand until you consider the following:
- People may have abused others in other space-time experiences (“past lives”) so they chose to be abused in this one to deeply learn to not do that.
- People / souls may choose to be abused so they awaken and develop even ‘bigger spiritual muscles’. Adversity can motivate people to shake off spiritual amnesia and search more deeply for meaningful answers to life’s biggest questions.
* why would they be doomed to lead a low energy lifetime and hurt someone?
They aren’t doomed to that fate since beginner souls always have open-ended opportunities to choose higher energy paths. (Advanced souls chose to take on limiting roles, so they weren’t doomed.)
