Question & Answer
Q: How can people on earth contact those on ‘the other side’ if their bodies died and they are now souls / energy / consciousness?
A: Kudos for knowing and writing that people who have passed on are souls / energy / consciousness! That is such an important fact to know.
Those living on earth are also souls / energy / consciousness. Because of the human brain’s limited perceptual abilities, it looks like humans are solid, separate, and can die. But none of that is really true.
You – as a soul and in conjunction with your angels, guides, and The Light – chose to take on a persona / mask during this brief earthly play. In this optical delusion, it appears that you are a mortal human who is separate from Source and others. (That illusion can be helpful as you experience serving others, adventures, growth, and enjoyment.)
It also seems that your loved ones whose bodies have died are gone and out of touch when, in fact, they are likely very near and want to continue your loving relationship. Those living in afterlife realms are not a zillion quadrillion light-years away; they are in a similar space but usually can’t be detected because of their finer and higher frequency of energy. (Highly evidential mediums can often perceive them, and many people can do so spontaneously and briefly.)
Those on earth AND in the afterlife can send and receive communications, especially with practice while focusing on higher energies and emotions. That’s why you can contact your beloved postmaterial loved ones even though their earthly bodies have died.
What’s more, your energy / life force and that of your loved ones may choose to multilocate. That means you can manifest in more than one space-time dimension simultaneously. As such, you and they may be together right now in very meaningful ways.
I know this is pretty ‘deep’ but you asked a big question. It’s important to wrap your head around all this so you can better understand how wonderfully life is really set up and live accordingly. To learn more, see the following articles:

Healing, Living, and Helping are now presented together because they are so interconnected. Some people need to heal before they can optimally live and help others. A Reminder
This earthly experience is a totally safe, meaningful, and magnificent adventure amidst eternity. I know it may not seem like it at times, especially during your toughest changes and challenges. That’s why it’s important to periodically remember how wonderfully life is set up and use resources to know and show that.
I hope you enjoy more peace, joy, love, fulfillment, and gratitude as you:
- remember you are an eternal being of energy / consciousness who is one with The Light / All That Is
- heal and optimally transform yourself holistically.
- identify and fulfill your highest purposes for being on earth at this time.
- create the greatest life YOU have envisioned. (YOU refers to your real self / totality of energy)
- serve others and make our world a better place.
The above goals are practically achievable – on a personal and planetary level – in ten years or less due to a combination of auspicious factors.
