  1. Adopt a more accurate worldview based on contemporary understandings about ‘the big picture of life’ and live accordingly – whatever that means for you. (see article #19 ‘The Great News’ about the Nature of Reality at SoulProof.com)
  2. Experience shorter and lightened grieving after loved ones change worlds and other big changes that seem like losses.
  3. Fine-tune yourself physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually so you have the vitality to handle life’s demands AND share your greatest gifts / soul’s missions.
  4. Become more aware of, benefit from, and share life’s silver linings that always accompany opportunities masquerading as adversity.
  5. Create the greatest life YOU have envisioned. (The term ‘YOU’ refers to your higher self / eternal consciousness / soul)
  6. Fulfill your highest purposes for being on earth and help make our world a better place. This is now practically possible as discussed in article #125 Eight Developments for Widespread Conscious Living NowAs enough people do this, widespread personal and planetary change will naturally unfold.

Follow the Silver Lining Road

Amidst coronavirus related suffering and loss, the saying ‘there’s a silver lining to every cloud’ may sound naively pollyanaish. However, great news  based on university-based scientific and clinical studies give more reason to be hopeful and positive – even now.  You may even find yourself humming ‘Follow the silver-lining road’ to the tune of ‘Follow the yellow brick road’.

For example, Dr. Lee Ryan, Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona, has invited the faculty and students to ask themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic, “What’s your ‘silver lining’”?  Their responses have been inspiring and heartwarming.

Substantial research by university scientists, physicians, and psychotherapists shows that optimism is valuable no matter what changes and challenges you face.  This evidence-based conclusion in positive psychology is amplified by scientific and clinical evidence about the greater reality – the totality of life. The vast majority of all that actually exists cannot be perceived by our five senses but is nonetheless very real.  As amazing as our physical sense are, they detect much less than one percent of reality.

Because so much of life escapes our senses, you may have viewed your time on earth as though through a tiny pinhole, and then wondered why things don’t make sense.  As the saying goes, “There is more to life than meets the eye.”  Most people readily agree with this statement, but don’t realize its numerous wonderful implications – especially during difficult times.

Thanks to contemporary university-based clinical and scientific research as discussed in our book Greater Reality Living, we can now adopt a greater reality perspective that indicates you and everyone else:

  1. continue living after your human form dies.

  2. do not lose ‘deceased’ loved ones since you can reunite with them when you change worlds.

  3. can enjoy a continuing, although different, relationship with ‘departed’ loved ones now.

  4. are an integral part of One Mind / God / Source Energy right now.

  5. receive assistance and guidance – synchronistic signs for example – from sources variously described by various religious and spiritual traditions as angels, guides, master teachers, or higher energies.

  6. create how heavenly / hellish your life feels by your predominant thoughts, words and deeds.

  7. are interconnected in a sacred web of life with other people, animals, and nature.

  8. have important purposes for being on this planet at this time.

None of the above is apparent when we rely on just our five senses.  Expanding our worldview and awareness can result in a more joyful, peaceful, loving, and meaningful human experience – no matter what is going on around us.  It can help all of us become bright lights in this world that sometimes seems so dark.

Six ways to more deeply know this great news and reflect it in every aspect of your life . . .

  1. Meditate and use centering practices to quiet your overly analytical / anxious brain that may not know (a) – (h) abovebecause it can’t perceive the greater reality.

  2. Pray / connect with Universe to deepen your relationship with All That Is / the Light.
  1. Serve others to upgrade negative energy emotions (fear, hopelessness, blame, anger, etc.) to peace, love, gratitude, and enthusiasm. Ask ‘How can I serve?’ then stay alert to how you feel called to brighten the corner where you are.

  2. Optimally care for yourself: fine-tune your body and mind, do what you enjoy, relax

  3. Affix notes where you’ll be reminded to consciously look for blessings instead of downsides. That will help you incorporate those silver linings into your life and share with others.
