Note: If you already know the following information scroll down to the article title in maroon below the seven asterisks.  However, I strongly recommend reading this introduction until you really ‘own’ it.  In addition, post The Great News where you’ll see it every day.

In 2019 – 2020, a series of studies at the University of Arizona definitively demonstrated scientifically that life continues after physical death.  This research was conducted by Gary E. Schwartz PhD and a team of electrical engineers, software specialists, evidential mediums, and postmaterial (so-called ‘deceased’) luminaries at the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health.

See articles #1 and 60 at SoulProof.com for an overview of the scientific and clinical evidence indicating – with 99.9% certainty – that consciousness survives bodily death.  This collective evidence, along with many firsthand experiences, also shows – with very high degrees of certainty – The Great News that you and everyone else:

  1. continue to live after bodily death.
  2. do not really lose ‘departed’ people and pets and can interact with them again.
  3. are integral, infinite, eternal, and beloved parts of Source Energy / Creator.
  4. receive assistance / guidance from angels, guides, master teachers, evolved energies.
  5. are sacredly interconnected with all people, animals, and nature.
  6. have special purposes for being on this planet at this time.
  7. have everything you need to survive and thrive during this earthly adventure.
  8. possess a magnificent, self-healing body that can optimize your earthly experience.
  9. can find meaning and trust the timing behind life’s biggest changes such as death.
  10. co-create how heavenly / hellish your life feels by your thoughts, words and deeds.
  11. can find silver linings and opportunities for growth and service amidst challenges.
  12. can likely use SoulPhone technology in the future for communication with postmaterial loved ones and luminaries who can help us heal our world.

This is, obviously, a new and exciting era for humanity.  When understood and internalized – even just a bit – The Great News can help you make the shift:

  • FROM thinking, believing, and acting as if your time on earth is unfair, meaningless, cruel, and ends with cessation of consciousness or the possibility of endless suffering.
  • TO thinking, believing, and acting as if this earthly experience is a totally meaningful, safe, and magnificent adventure amidst forever.

Upgrading your language can help you adopt a greater reality perspective and live based on the second worldview.  That, in turn, can help you create the greatest life YOU have envisioned, fulfill your purposes for being on earth, serve others, and enjoy the journey.  In my articles, l:

  1. Will use the term ‘YOU’ to describe the totality of your energy / being. The real you may manifest in different spacetime ways simultaneously. Only 20% of your consciousness may be needed for an earthly experience.  The term ‘YOU’ recognizes both of these possibilities.
  2. Will not use the terms ‘die, departed, deceased, or dead’ without single quotation marks since those have strongly entrenched and erroneous meanings indicating an end of life.
  3. Will use the terms ‘bodily death’ and ‘death of the earthly form’ to remind you that only the earth-suit dies. The rest – all the intelligence, love, personality, memories, preferences, sense of humor, and much more – continues living in other parts of the field of all possibilities.
  4. Will use the terms changed worlds, passed on, transitioned and others that aptly describe a continuation of consciousness after bodily death.
  5. Will primarily refer to those who have passed on as postmaterial persons. That term recognizes the points in #3. I also will use soul, consciousness, essence, and awareness.
  6. Will primarily refer to ‘physical humans living on earth’ as material persons. Why? Because those terms within single quotation marks may apply to postmaterial persons: they can have physicality, visit earth, and are still human in meaningful ways.
  7. The terms lower versus higher energy emotions / ways of being, are not judgmental or subjective. They are based on well-established observations that ‘as you think, so shall you be.’ Those terms are also based on objective measurements by, for example, David Hawkins PhD, MD author of Power Versus Force.  He and other researchers found that higher-energy emotions of peace, joy, and love calibrate at 600, 540, and 500 respectively.  Lower-energy emotions of anger, fear, and guilt calibrate at 150, 100, and 30.
  8. I will use single quotations marks with words such as ‘lose and fail’.  The Great News and collective afterlife evidence can expand your worldview about what seem to be losses and failures.  We can’t accurately judge the big picture of life – what is lost or how we failed – with our limited human senses.
  9. To recognize and respect different genders and sexual identifications, I will alternate using ‘he’ or ‘she’ and related pronouns. Depending on a person’s orientation, one, both, or neither of those may apply.

Optimally Handling Life’s Biggest Changes and Challenges

Let’s face it, life on earth is not easy at times.  Some consider this planet to be one of the – if not the most – toughest places to live in the universe.  You probably know what I’m talking about.

However, the information in this and other articles can help you handle life’s toughest changes and challenges with style. Your inner light can always shine through brightly no matter what your current situation or what is going on around you.

Much scientific, clinical, and experiential evidence now shows that you and everyone else . . .

  1. are still alive after the human form dies.
  2. do not really ‘lose’ loved ones after their earthly bodies perish since you reunite with them when you change worlds.
  3. can enjoy a continued, but different, relationship with your ‘departed’ loved ones now.
  4. are integral, infinite, and beloved parts of Source Energy / Creator / One Mind.
  5. receive assistance and guidance from sources variously described as angels, guides, master teachers, and higher energies.
  6. can have different and, perhaps, simultaneous life experiences. That means you may be with ‘deceased’ loved ones right now in a parallel reality / different slice of Life.
  7. create how heavenly or hellish your life feels by your predominant thoughts, words and deeds.
  8. are interconnected in sacred ways with all people, animals, and nature.
  9. have special purposes for experiencing being on this planet at this time. It’s an optical delusion that this time on earth is all there is.
  10. can quite probably use SoulPhone devices in the near future to communicate with dear ones who changed worlds
  11. will likely enjoy webinars and classes from postmaterial luminaries who want to help us heal ourselves and our planet

How does this contemporary information – that corroborates many wise spiritual and religious teachings across time and cultures – change your response to life’s challenges?

Eight keys to remember when going through tough times . . .

1. You’re not alone. That’s true in two ways. First, everyone suffers at some time or another.  It’s just part of this earthly cruise package you signed up for so welcome to the human race.  Secondly, you are always assisted and guided by the Light and your angels, guides, master teachers, soul mates, evolved energies—whatever you prefer to call them.  This is especially true during your darkest moments.

But, again, it’s a team effort so be sure to: ask for help, give thanks for it, know that assistance will arrive when and how it is supposed to, stay alert, tell others about your quest for help and how it is coming in, pay it forward after your life has improved and help others.

2. Your suffering is time limited.
Even a one hundred year earthly incarnation is just a blink of an eye in the span of eternity. Yes, I know that one day can seem like forever when you feel mired in pain, sadness, and suffering.  BTDT! (Been There, Done That!)  But this human experience is so transient; hang in there and know it’s just for a little while.  Look for the silver lining to life’s clouds when your life seems filled with misery.  Someday, maybe very soon, you will see that it was all worth the temporary pain.

3. You likely chose difficult scenarios. God doesn’t arbitrarily rain down suffering upon you. That would reduce the Ground of All Being to a cruel sadist or mercurial puppet-master.  Good clinical evidence and wise spiritual teachings agree that, before coming to earth, you may have volunteered for certain challenges.

Why?  For the powerful opportunities to serve, learn, and grow.  To grow in love and enjoy adventures while you remember who you really are.  To expand the knowledge base of Universe / God / Life Unfolding.   This does not, by the way, infer determinism because you can make choices.  For more about this topic, see article #25 Pre-Birth Planning.

4. You have everything you need
. The same Intelligence and Energy that created universes courses within you. You are an integral part of Life Itself right now. Wrestling with life’s biggest changes and challenges can help you better recall your true nature.  Put another way, searching and struggling can help you awaken to who you really are.   Aim for a pleasant and wonderful life, by all means.  But when tough times arrive, remember that you possess limitless potential and amazing abilities.  Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

5. Difficulties, tragedies and challenges are opportunities in disguise. When life gets tough, you are more likely to ask important questions and reach down deep to discover meaningful answers. Ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and other languages captured the dual nature of difficulties that are also opportunities.  Challenges create exquisite openings to grow, serve others, and appreciate the little things in life.  It’s easily worth the price of admission.

6. That which does not kill me makes me stronger. Nietzsche said that, but I’d modify it a bit: “Nothing can kill the real you, but life’s challenges can make you stronger.” Of course it’s natural to prefer avoiding disappointment and tragedy.  But when difficulties – whether self-created or not – show up, look at the stars, not the mud.  Look for doors that open when others close, doors you wouldn’t have noticed if it weren’t for the “bad things” occurring.

7. There’s a time and meaning for all things. The Bible says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Other wisdom sources have echoed this truth.  Consider all the minute details that had to align for you to be right where you are now and experiencing challenges.  Is that a random and chaotic process, or a lawful one with meaning and purpose?  Only you can decide what makes the most sense to you, but good evidence indicates the latter is the way Life unfolds.

8. Life on Earth is an adventure. Humans love adventure stories and movies, in part, because those remind us why we are here. Before this earthly experience, your real self could see life’s big picture.  You knew it was very worthwhile to struggle some because of the potential benefits therein.

But then your human form was born and, if you’re like most people, totally forgot the greater reality perspective.  You forgot that you are a timeless and deathless being of energy who loves creating great stories.  Now you can awaken from spiritual amnesia and remember: you are a hero or heroine who always wins in the end.  So relax and enjoy life.

Anytime you go down one fork in the road—even if it’s one you regret later—there are unique potential benefits.  Realizing this helps you minimize the “sad and bad” feelings and focus on “happy and good” ones.  And that, of course, is a major key to attracting more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

I’ve learned a lot during my sixty-seven years on earth because, in part, I’ve made so many mistakes.  With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, I now see how past decisions and actions could have been improved.  But I feel depressed and disempowered if I dwell too much on what I could have done differently.  It’s important to learn from the past but mainly live in the present moment, do the best you can, and know that’s enough.

Doing this helps you reap benefits from the past, even parts you would change if you could.   The more you can appreciate, honor and accept past wounds, the more you can release old stuck energy that becomes available for living fully in the now.  This works whether the events “happened to you” such as losing money in a stock market crash or whether you “made a mistake.”  Or are all occurrences an inside job?  For example, I didn’t listen to outward signs and my inner voice about the 2000 tech crash and lost much of my savings.  Either way, there are lots of silver linings to appreciate but you have to be aware to see them.

I was blessed to hear Christopher Reeve talk during his first public appearances after the injury that rendered him paralyzed from the neck down.  Someone asked if he ever looked back to that fateful day and wonder what he could have done to prevent it.  He animatedly interrupted the questioner and said, ‘Never. There’s absolutely no benefit in it.  Doing that can make your life worse.”

If Reeve could be that clear and strong after his paralysis, so can you and I.  Here are seven potential blessings from adversity to remember when you’re feeling down.  I say ‘potential’ because your involvement is needed.  Will you use past challenges to justify a loser’s limp, another reason why you can’t do this or that?  Or will you find the silver linings, give thanks for them, and incorporate them into your thoughts, words, and actions?

  • Greater strength of spirit. Tough times build a stronger spirit just as more exercise builds physical muscles.  The most brilliantly shining souls I’ve met endured big challenges like profound disappointments, rape, or paralysis.  That doesn’t mean life always has to be difficult but, when tough times happen, this benefit alone is worth it.
  • Enhanced compassion for others. Going through challenging times can help you feel more empathy for others.  You get to walk a mile in their moccasins and become a better human being for the experience.  Weathering tough times can also help you realize how great you have it, even during trials and tribulations, compared to many people.
  • Helping others. All parts of life are so interconnected.  Going through “losses” can convey positive impacts in ways that wouldn’t have occurred otherwise.  For example, financial losses may keep you at your job longer and thus benefit others.
  • Positive spin-offs. When life throws you a curveball, you meet new people, have different experiences, and learn information that you wouldn’t have if things had gone how you wanted.  You may touch the lives of others by being where you are now even though things didn’t go accordingly to your plans.
  • Anticipation of a brighter future. ‘Sad and bad’ events in life can make you wiser.  This, in turn, increases the chances of making better future decisions and choices that reap positive benefits.
  • Training for present time consciousness. This one benefit alone is easily worth any temporary difficulties since you always take your awareness with you.  Going through great difficulties can teach you to stay in the here and now.  Once you’ve learned how to do that, it becomes part of who you are.  Then you can enjoy eternity from that perspective.
  • The “X” factor: There are, no doubt, other blessings that will trickle, or flood, in over time. That’s why Native Americans had a “mystery bag” that they symbolically put puzzling events into.  After a few months, they looked at their challenges with a different perspective to see if those made more sense.

Think upon these things and consider examining your current challenges in a different light.  This temporary visit to earth – even the tough times – makes much more sense when you remember who you are, why you’re here, and Who walks beside you always.
